COMMUNITY CONNECTION DAY - HASTINGS - 5 OCT 2024

🔥 Community Connection Day - Hastings 🔥

Join us on Saturday, 5 October 2024, from 4-6pm at Te Mākaramū (The Meeting Room), Cornwall Park, Hastings!

This session will focus on Fire Emergency and Civil Defence, providing important safety tips and information to help you keep your whānau safe. Fire and Emergency NZ (FENZ) will also talk about their volunteering programme—a great way to give back to the community!

🚨 Highlights include:

- Fire safety tips from FENZ
- How to get involved in FENZ’s volunteer programme
- Civil defence preparedness advice from HBCDEM
- FREE Civil Defence Kits for each attending household (if you haven’t received one before)

MULTICULTURAL MARAE VISIT - 15 SEP 2024

The Multicultural Marae Visit is coming to Napier soon!

Welcoming Communities, in partnership with the Multicultural Association Hawke’s Bay, and  Napier City Council , is inviting you to the Multicultural Marae Visit in Napier:

• Date: Sunday, 15 September
• Time: 10am - 4pm
• Location: Pukemokimoki Marae, 191 Riverbend Road, Napier

What is in for you:

• Experience Māori culture
• Learn marae tikanga (protocol)
• Taste diverse kai (food)
• Connect and make friends

Please bring a plate for a shared morning tea, the Hāngī will be provided for lunch.
